Directions:

From PETALUMA: take the Washington/Bodega Exit off Highway 101 (coming north or south).

Turn west onto Washington, and drive through the town of Petaluma.

Stay on Washington which becomes East Washington and then Bodega and eventually Valley Ford Road.

Valley Ford is approximately 19 miles west of the exit (allot about 20-25 minutes to get there from Petaluma).

After about 17 miles, you will be approaching the small town of Valley Ford. You will see a sign saying Valley Ford, 2 miles. We are located just before the town on the right side at 14270 Valley Ford Road.

There will be a posted sign reading Tatanka Farms at the driveway which leads up to old (but charming) farm house at the top of the hill.

Park in front of the house, come through the gate, and walk along the path that takes you around the left side of the house.

Mitch's office is located behind the house. (If you are waiting for someone, there is a general store and deli in town and a great 2-mile walk, or Bodega Bay is another 6 miles.)

 

FROM SANTA ROSA: take Highway 12 toward Sebastopol.

Stay on Highway 12 through the town of Sebastopol (as if you were driving to Bodega Bay).

You will travel on a two-lane country road for approximately 6 miles.

Keep going past the Freestone junction (which takes you to Occidental) and the next available road on your left is Freestone Valley Ford Road. Take that for another 2 miles until you reach the stopsign.

Go left onto Valley Ford Road. Follow it through the small town of Valley Ford. We are located just outside of town less than a quarter mile on your left at 14270 Valley Ford Road.
